The Role
Pybus Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established automotive business in Southampton to recruit an experienced Aftersales Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with a proven background in Service and Parts operations within a franchised dealer environment. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the Aftersales department, driving performance, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop Service and Parts teams to achieve departmental and business objectives
- Create, manage, and control service and parts budgets, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
- Oversee workshop operations to maximise efficiency, productivity, and quality standards
- Monitor, analyse, and report on key KPIs accurately and within required timescales
- Ensure all warranty processes are compliant, with claims processed and recovered efficiently
- Handle customer complaints promptly, delivering fair and effective resolutions
- Identify training requirements and support ongoing development across the department
- Work closely with the General Manager to support long-term Aftersales strategy and profitability

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record managing a successful Aftersales department in a main dealer environment
- The ability to lead by example and inspire teams to exceed customer satisfaction and financial targets
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of consumer legislation and FCA requirements
- A full UK driving licence
