Pybus Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive employer for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their successful Aftersales team in Huddersfield.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are returned to customers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults
• Complete inspections and health checks
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation
• Work effectively within a busy workshop environment

The successful candidate will benefit from ongoing manufacturer-supported training, including the opportunity to achieve IMI Level 3 Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair certification, helping to future-proof your career as the automotive industry continues to evolve.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Main dealership experience (advantageous)
• Training & Development
