Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Vehicle Damage Assessor who can accurately assess vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, and support the smooth progression of repairs through the workshop.

The Role

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in the repair process by inspecting vehicles, producing accurate estimates, and liaising with customers, insurers, and repair technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements
• Produce detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating systems
• Liaise with insurance companies, engineers, and customers throughout the repair process
• Identify additional repair work as required and update estimates accordingly
• Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer and industry standards
• Support efficient workflow management within the bodyshop
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator, or VDA within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and industry standards
• Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex, AudaNet or Eclipse
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• ATA accreditation (preferred but not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence
