Salary: Up to £42,000 basic per year + bonus

Hours: Full‑time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join our busy, customer‑focused workshop in Newcastle (NE29). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair and service a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
Carry out complex mechanical and electrical fault‑finding
Lead by example, supporting junior technicians and apprentices
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely
Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records
Adhere to all workshop health and safety procedures
Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers when required
About You

Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Proven experience in a senior, diagnostic, or specialist role
Strong knowledge of modern diagnostics and vehicle systems
Ability to work independently and support others in the team
Excellent problem‑solving skills with a methodical approach
Full UK driving licence
