Pybus Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and well-established main dealer in Darlington. We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Advisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting a busy aftersales department.

The Role

As Senior Service Advisor, you will act as a key point of contact for customers while supporting the Aftersales leadership team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing customer enquiries and service bookings
• Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the service journey
• Explaining repair requirements and associated costs clearly and professionally
• Liaising with workshop technicians and service management
• Maximising service and repair opportunities through effective upselling
• Keeping customers informed on vehicle progress and completion times
• Handling customer concerns and ensuring prompt resolution
• Supporting and mentoring junior Service Advisors where required
• Ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately
• Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and manufacturer standards

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised main dealer environment
• Strong knowledge of automotive aftersales processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proven experience of achieving upsell and customer satisfaction targets
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong organisational and administration skills
• A positive and professional attitude
• Experience supporting colleagues or acting as a senior member of the team would be advantageous
• A full UK Driving Licence
