Position: Vehicle Technician – Independent Site

Location: Durham

Salary: Up to £42,000 plus bonus depending on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time position MONDAY TO FRIDAY ONLY

Overview:
Join our team as a Vehicle Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles. We are looking for a skilled individual with mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
– Utilize schematics and hand tools to diagnose and repair vehicle issues
– Perform maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition
– Conduct equipment repairs and utilize power tools as needed
– Weld and assemble vehicle components accurately
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
– Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks when required

Skills:
– Proficient in mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems
– Experience with schematics for troubleshooting purposes
– Competent in using hand tools effectively
– Demonstrated ability to maintain and repair various types of equipment
– Skilled in utilizing power tools for efficient repairs
– Welding experience is a plus
– Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
– Capable of heavy lifting tasks as part of the job requirements
