Pybus Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and well-established independent franchised car dealership based in Burton upon Trent.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a professional aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to develop their career within a respected dealership that values its employees and offers ongoing manufacturer training and career progression.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Conducting vehicle health checks and identifying additional work requirements
• Completing all job cards and paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines
• Delivering high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Diagnostic Technician
• A recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable

• MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential)
• Main dealer or franchised dealership experience
