Salary: Up to £40,000 OTE (£34,000 basic)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm) + Saturday rota
About the Role
Our client in North Shields is looking for a skilled Alloy Wheel Technician to join their growing Accident Repair Centre team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment, specialising in high-quality cosmetic repairs and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Repair standard and diamond-cut alloy wheels to a high standard
Operate mobile diamond cut (D/Cut) lathe equipment
Prepare, refurbish, and refinish alloy wheels
Accurately colour match alloy wheel finishes
Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards
Communicate effectively with customers to confirm repair requirements and costs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
About You
Previous experience in alloy wheel repair or a similar role
Tyre fitters looking to progress are encouraged to apply
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence with a good driving record
