Local Business Development Manager – Employed or Self Employed as an Appointed Representative

Region – Newcastle & Teesside (2 roles) field based and working from home.​

Employed OTE – £40 – £50k.

Self Employed Appointed Representative – Opportunity to earn £50k – £100k. This Opportunity will work for a LBDM who has a strong book of clients and wants access to a wide range of OEM’s and have full access to a national infostructure. ​

Our client is and industry leader in the fleet arena and are looking to recruit a Local Business

Development Manager to maximise the territory opportunity covering multiple brands. As a Local Business Development Manager, you will be proactive in finding vehicle sales opportunities, as well as being able to network and quickly build up new prospects. You will thrive on the challenges of business-to-business sales and be motivated by achieving sales targets.

This is a fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunity and the freedom to do things differently. ​

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage local businesses within your specific geographic region.
  • Develop your existing relationships, this will involve re-energizing some existing relationships and building new relationships.
  • Maximise the opportunity with access to multiple brands.
  • Account manage your portfolio.
  • Proactively generate new business and sales opportunities.
  • Feedback market intelligence, understand where business strengths and opportunities lie and ensure our partners are aware of the advantages.
  • Keep all systems and documentation up to date.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE LBDM experience.
  • MUST HAVE worked in the Automotive Fleet Sector for at least 2 years.
  • Proven experience of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Automotive Fleet Sector.
  • Ability to tender for new business and build relationships.
  • Professional, motivated and have a passionate attitude.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication ability.
