Location: Harrogate
Salary: Basic Salary £35,000 – OTE £60,000 + Company Vehicle
Full Time and Permanent
Monday to Saturday 8.30am-6.00pm and Sunday 10.30 am-5.00pm (5 day week with potential for alternative weekends)

Our client is an expanding independent used car specialist selling in excess of 200 hand picked used cars and are looking to add to the team to manage growing volumes.  
This is a superb opportunity for the right person who is able to demonstrate a successful and stable track record with the Automotive Sector.

Responsibilities:

  • The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for introducing all customers to our range of finance and insurance products
  • Ensuring the smooth handling of customer documentation and payment
  • Responsible for leading the sales team in the absence of the Sales Manager
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of finance and insurance related products and selling them appropriately to customers In a regulated, process driven manner
  • Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss finance and insurance options
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales
  • Maximise impact of showroom and external vehicle display areas

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, efficient and organised. You must be used to working in a competitive and process driven sales environment and possess excellent communication and customer handling skills.

Requirements

  • Possess a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets in car sales or a financial services related environment
  • Be tenacious, enthusiastic and take personal responsibility for team achievement.

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
