Entry-level jobs fall to lowest level since 2021

Graduate roles in the UK are now down -44.8% annually, continuing a three-year run of declines and entry-level jobs have fallen by -24.7% annually to their lowest level since 2021.

According to the latest job market report from Adzuna the UK job market continued its downward trajectory in November, with vacancies falling for the fifth consecutive month. The figures on graduate roles and entry-level jobs align with rising youth unemployment, which now sits at 15% – the fastest rate in the G7, according to PwC.

The findings broadly chime with those of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation monthly tracker published last Monday (15 December). Read more
