This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially focused automotive leader to take full responsibility for dealership operations, profitability, customer satisfaction and team performance.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead a well-established management team and drive continued growth across Sales, Aftersales and Finance while maintaining exceptional customer experiences and operational standards.

The Opportunity

As Head of Business, you will have overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of the dealership, ensuring all departments operate effectively and deliver against key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Full accountability for dealership profit and loss performance
• Drive new and used vehicle sales, finance penetration and aftersales growth
• Lead, motivate and develop departmental managers and their teams
• Monitor budgets, overheads and key financial controls
• Review and improve operational performance through KPI management
• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction and retention levels
• Ensure manufacturer and regulatory compliance standards are achieved
• Manage recruitment, succession planning and leadership development
• Build a positive, high-performance culture across the business
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, revenue and profitability

Requirements

About You

We are seeking an ambitious and proven dealership leader who can demonstrate:

✅ Previous experience as a Head of Business, General Manager or Dealer Principal within the automotive sector

✅ Strong commercial awareness with a proven record of delivering profitable growth

✅ Experience managing dealership P&L and operational performance

✅ Exceptional leadership and people development skills

✅ A customer-first approach with a passion for excellence

✅ The ability to inspire, coach and influence teams to achieve outstanding results
