Salary: Up to £34,000 Basic Salary + Benefits
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week Monday to Friday
Applicants must speak fluent Dutch. It would also be an advantage if you have some ability to speak French or German.
We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our client’s Bristol based Accounts team in the role of a Credit Controller Team Leader.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Credit Controller Team Leader you will be responsible for chasing and retrieving debts as they become due for payment and pursuing overdue accounts. Our Client is looking for applicants who can demonstrate drive, commitment and enthusiasm along with willingness to contribute to your team. The main responsibilities of the role will include:
Producing daily vehicle spreadsheets and chasing debt daily
Ensure effective compliance and the meeting of all internal and external financial and auditing requirements.
Maintaining fair relationships with Fleet customers and manufacturers
Chasing manufacturer debt
Exercise due diligence and take corrective actions when necessary, escalating issues where appropriate and providing the necessary advice and support.
Identify opportunities to grow all aspects of the business profitably, contributing to effective budget control at every opportunity.
Ensuring customers do not exceed credit limits and payment terms
Behave professionally, receptive to feedback and continually up-skilling, finding ways to learn from others and maximising training, learning and development opportunities.
Specific balance sheet reconciliations
Completing bad debt reporting
Attending and contributing to weekly debt meetings
Who Are We Looking for?
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent and confident communication skills both written and verbal
The ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external contacts
Strong Excel/Data Inputting skills
A proactive and driven attitude
Natural problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
An excellent eye for detail.
A positive, right-first-time attitude
A team player mentality
Ideally, previous Motor Trade and credit control experience would be advantageous for this role.
