Pybus Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive retail business for an experienced Used Car Retail Manager based in Wimbledon, South West London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven automotive sales professional to support the Sales Manager in the day-to-day leadership of a high-performing sales department. The successful candidate will inspire and develop their team to deliver outstanding customer experiences while achieving sales targets and maximising profitability.

You will be responsible for ensuring a compliant, efficient and customer-focused sales process, whilst leading key activities including prospecting, test drives, vehicle presentations and team performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Manager in the daily operation of the sales department
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
• Drive exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction standards
• Maximise sales opportunities and departmental profitability
• Ensure compliance with all sales processes and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators across the department
• Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring and performance management
• Oversee vehicle presentations, customer appointments and test drive activity

Location Requirement

• Able to commute to Wimbledon within approximately one hour

Requirements

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience managing a successful automotive sales team
• A strong track record of achieving sales targets and maximising profitability
• Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
• The ability to motivate, develop and inspire colleagues
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
