Our client is a leading automotive retailer with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional customer service and investing in their people. Due to maternity cover requirements, they are seeking an organised, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join their friendly Sales Administration team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting vehicle sales operations while ensuring a seamless customer experience through efficient and accurate administration.

About the Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the Sales Department. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting vehicle sales processes, managing documentation, and working closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure the smooth supply and delivery of vehicles.
The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Hybrid Working:
The first three months of employment will be office-based during your probation period. Following successful completion of probation, you will move to a hybrid working arrangement, combining office and home working.

Key Responsibilities

Provide efficient and effective administrative support within the Sales Department.
Process customer files, vehicle documentation, and invoices accurately and promptly.
Maintain electronic and paper-based records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
Assist in the management of vehicle sales processes and customer orders.
Monitor and update vehicle stock information and management systems.
Support other departments in ensuring the effective supply of vehicles.
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, colleagues, trade customers, and retail customers.
Ensure all sales transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Respond promptly to customer and internal enquiries.
Deliver outstanding internal and external customer service at all times.
Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the customer experience.
Suggest and support improvements to departmental processes and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience

Previous administration experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience using computerised systems and databases.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Core Maths and English qualifications.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
Evidence of the right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience using stock monitoring or vehicle management systems.
Automotive industry experience.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong customer service skills.
Numerate and highly accurate when handling data and documentation.
