We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly, well-equipped workshop where quality and teamwork are highly valued.
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £38,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Overtime available paid at time-and-a-half
- Fuel contribution towards travel to and from work
- Company pension scheme
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Occasional Saturday mornings required throughout the year
About the Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairs, and MOT preparation across a variety of makes and models. You’ll work with modern diagnostic tools to ensure every vehicle is maintained to the highest standards.
You’ll be joining a supportive and professional team in a clean, organised workshop environment where your skills and experience are genuinely appreciated.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose faults using modern electronic diagnostic equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Time-served technicians will also be considered
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
