Senior officials at the Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA) spent £8,500 on expenses during a trip to Las Vegas in 2022, according to a leaked dossier reported by The Telegraph on 21 October.

The claims, authorised under former general secretary Manuel Cortes, covered casino and hotel bills, business-class flights and high-end restaurant spending.

The dossier also shows that Cortes withdrew cash ahead of the US trip, which was then claimed back on expenses. Read more
